KMU.DIGITAL will continue to support both small and medium-sized enterprises until June 30, 2025. The reason for the set period of validity is a fixed budget that will be used up at some point. Funding for digitization in Austria: In total, you can expect a maximum of 9,000 euros here. The good thing is that the sum does not have to be paid back. The 9,000 euros are made up of the consulting grant (3,000 euros) and the sales grant (6,000 euros).

The special conditions of aws Digitalization play a role here in particular. Unfortunately, the budget funds are currently exhausted, but the Austria Wirtschaftsservice Gesellschaft mbH (AWS DIGITALIZIERUNG – KMU ) could change this in the near future and provide further funds.
Funding Digitization Austria: As soon as new funding has been made available again, up to 12000 euros can be approved. Thereby, this sum covers a maximum of 20% of a respective project (up to 60000 Euro).

Small businesses with fewer than 10 employees can contact the Vienna Business Agency for Local Supply and Digitalization to apply for a financial subsidy. Anyone who hires an agency or a freelancer to create their own online presence, for example, will be supported by the Vienna Business Agency. This is even an ongoing process that lasts for 2 years.
Within the 2 years (from application approval) projects from 5000 Euro are supported with a maximum of 10000 Euro per year. In total, you can expect 20000 euros here.
Wien Digital also helps small and medium-sized businesses that have been operating in Austria’s capital for at least 1 year to get on their digital feet. The costs for external services, such as the creation of a professional website, are covered. It is important to mention, however, that the costs of “standard websites” are not reimbursed. Therefore, a professional must be consulted who can prove that the web presence has been created by professional web designers.
